The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) includes some $16.8 billion for Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) grant programs to strengthen U.S. energy security, environmental quality and economci vitality while stimulating the ecomomy and creating/retaining jobs.

The ARRA includes a Buy American provision that says, "None of the funds appropriated for our otherwise made available by the Recovery Act may be used for a project for the construction, alteration, maintenance or repair of a public building or public work, unless all of the iron, steel and manufactured goods used in the project were produced or manufactured in the United States"

Although, under certain circumstances, DOE can grant a waiver, all attempts are being made to help grantees locate made in America products. Manufacturing Extension Partnership Centers across the country, including Missouri Enterprise, are partnering with the DOE to help in these efforts and will regularly receive notification from DOE detailing products that are being sought.

To enable Missouri Enterprise to try to match your products with those being sought, you will need to complete a brief form, including a description of your products, their uses and your contact information. If your product descriptions match any of the products being sought, a Missouri Enterprise representative will contact you.
