An Introduction to Lean Supply Chain Management

A “not-to-be missed,” three-day, information-filled Missouri Enterprise/ St. Louis University Consortium for Supply Chain Management Professional Development Opportunity and Certificate Program, that covers:

The basics of supply chain management/integration;

How Lean Enterprise techniques like Value Stream Mapping are essential to effectively manage the flow of material and information through production and distribution to customers; and

An Introduction to Training Within Industry (TWI)

Training Within Industry (TWI) was created during WWII to help boost American industrial production. It was very successful and since than companies here and abroad have made it an important part of sustaining the productivity gains made through Lean Enterprise principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Most notably, TWI plays a major role in the Toyota Production System.
