The first revision of the ISO standard in nearly a decade is scheduled for release in October.
Companies registered to the current standard will have to make the transition to the new amendment, ISO 9001:2008 or face losing their registration.
To help companies like yours make this transition, Missouri Enterprise has developed the ISO 9001:2008 Transition Training and Audit Program.
This two-phase program will enable you to become registered to the ISO 9001:2008 amendment smoothly and cost effectively, primarily using your internal resources.
The first phase of the program is one-day, eight-hour workshop, designed to prepare you to manage your company’s ISO transition. During this interactive session, you will get:
• an in-depth (clause-by-clause) review of the differences between the current and new
standard and the rationale behind the changes;
• an understanding of the steps your company will need to take to efficiently transition
to the new standard;
• the ability to interpret the new standard as it affects your company; and
• training to document your compliance with the new standard.
The second phase of the ISO 9001:2008 Transition Training and Audit Program is an individualized audit of your company’s quality management system, performed by a Missouri Enterprise ISO specialist.
Following this full day audit, Missouri Enterprise will deliver an easy-to-understand, written report outlining the specific steps of an action plan your company will need to take to become registered to the new amendment.
The cost of the complete ISO 9001:2008 Transition Training and Audit Program, including both the workshop and the individualized audit, is only $2500 per participant. Register before September 15 and bring another person to the workshop at no additonal charge.
