1st Session: Farmers Market Managers Training
Growth in the number of farmers markets throughout Missouri provides economic benefits to the state. However, success for new startups can be limited by management inexperience, lack of training, and inadequate support systems in place.
Through this 6-hour workshop, we will provide information on easy-to-use and hands-on tools like check lists, sample forms, rules and guidelines, and other policies. We will also discuss the importance of community relationship building and how to access important resources for farmers markets, enhance professionalism, and increase success.
