Background and Education
Curtis Lopez has more than 20 years' experience as an organizational development and management consultant iin quality management, strategic planning, quality systems auditing as well as quality systems training and development.
Curtis has provided quality management consulting, training and services for manufacturers of proprietary ground support equipment, commercial custom design trailers, agricultural equipment, steel and wire, cement, automotive heat exchangers and industrial coatings.
As a quality systems specialist, Curtis has led audit teams utilizing ISO 9001/AS 9100/Automotive QS/TS requirements, co-pioneered the documentation, development and facilitation of their ISO 9001 quality system registration. Curtis established the management; computerized calibration recall, raw material/vendor certification systems; participated in and led internal, second, and third-party audits; initiated/followed up corrective actions, preventive actions; and coordinated all quality teams, statistical analysis and quality management system development activities.
He has trained, led, facilitated and coordinated the implementation and direction of quality teams along with statistical analysis associated with successful ISO/Aerospace/Automotive and CQI execution. Curt is also certified in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Analysis (HACCP) implementation.
Curtis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Total Quality Management, with an emphasis in Manufacturing Management, cum laude, from Newman University in Wichita, KS.
He is senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a certified Zenger Miller instructor, a certified “Quality System Lead Auditor and has successfully completed the ISO 9000 Assessor/Lead Assessor examination.
