Background and Education
David has 25 years of experience in the areas of engineering, consulting, training and adult education.
As an engineer, David has worked in loss prevention, design of manufacturing machinery and processes, robotic work stations, machinery installation and startups, fire suppression system design and hazardous material containment systems.
David developed a college program in Power Plant Operations and later served as lead instructor in another college program, Industrial Control and Automation Technology. He also conducted adult education programs in college and manufacturing settings in operator skills, CAD, blueprint reading, mathematics, Statistical Process Control, leadership and communications skills.
His experience in consulting has focused largely on ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing implementation including Kaizen events, technical writing, industrial electricity, fluid power, programmable logic control (PLC) and industrial robotics (FANUS and Mitsubishi robots).
David is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Among numerous certifications, he holds a certificate in Lean Leadership from the University of Michigan.
David is a certified Galliard Family Business Advisor.
