Background and Education
Joe has worked in manufacturing for more than 30 years. He began his career with Procter & Gamble as a Production Manager and Process Engineer. His next position was with Ensign-Bickford as Plant Engineer. In his next assignment, he was introduced to Kaizen continuous improvement activities. Next was a Project Manager position with Missouri Enterprise, where we helped numerous companies implement Lean initiatives. Following several years with Missouri Enterprise, he worked with Mondi as a World Class Production Leader, maintaining the focus of continuous improvement. He rejoined Missouri Enteprise as a Project Manager in April 2014.
Joe is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also been an Adjunct Professor for Mineral Area College, instructing courses leading to an Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology.
He has extensive experience in training and leading companies in the implementation of Lean projects and is certified in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Analysis (HACCP) implementation.
Joe holds Certificates in Lean Leadership from the University of Michigan and Productivity Improvement Through Quality from the University of Tennessee. He has also trained in Six Sigma.
Joe has served as an ISO internal auditor.
