Manufacturing is one of Missouri’s top industries, providing jobs to thousands of people throughout the state. We need YOUR help in recognizing the impact this sector has on communities and families in Missouri by holding virtual events, creating short videos of your facilities to show youth, signing proclamations, and other activities to expose the next generation of workers to this industry. Manufacturing Day is a nationwide tradition and is celebrated on or around October 2nd. We are excited to be partnering with the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and local business organizations around the state to help manufacturers showcase this important industry.
Checklist for Manufacturing Day
1. Here is a link to the Chamber's event STARTER KIT, filled with everything you need to hold an event (mock tours, press releases, agendas and MORE).
2. Register your event on the national Manufacturing Day website. Your company name will appear on their site and on this page.
3. Request a free MFG Day banner or order service star/2020 stickers. The deadline to submit is August 28, 2020.
